NICOLE QUINTANA: My name is Nicole Quintana. I am a mom. I am a wife. I am a teacher. I teach at the law school. My areas of focus at Ogborn Mihm Quaintance are commercial litigation. I do some homeowner’s association litigation and construction litigation.
I went to the University of Denver – Sturm College of Law. That’s where I graduated Order of St. Ives, which is top 10% of my class. I participated on the National Trial Team while I was there and obtained an invaluable experience in mock trial. I come out having had both the experience of being a staff member, being a member of a national trial team, and now being able to apply the skills and experience in both of those arenas to my current practice of law.
When I graduated from law school, I went to work for the same law firm that I had been with for the prior six years. I have now been with that same firm, which is now Ogborn Mihm Quaintance, for ten years.
What I love about the practice of law is the continuing education. I learn something new every single day of my life. I get to take that constant education and apply it to helping other people. Whether it is in the commercial arena, whether it’s in the homeowner arena, whether it’s in other clients who are involved in legal malpractice actions, I get to take what it is that I love and make sure that I am helping somebody to get back to a position in their life where their focus isn’t a lawsuit, it’s their life.
