BIO
Trip’s analytical ability, attention to detail, and excellent writing skills make him well-equipped to represent clients in a wide variety of legal matters.
With experience as a first-chair litigator, Trip understands well the importance of early, diligent case development towards putting on a successful trial. However, Trip’s philosophy is that a happy client is the true measure of success. For that reason, Trip enjoys working closing with his clients to understand their goals and objectives, and he emphasizes achieving his client’s desired result through settlement, where possible.
Prior to joining Ogborn Mihm, LLP, Trip clerked for the Honorable Laura Tighe in Colorado’s First Judicial District. Following his clerkship, Trip began his legal career with a large Denver plaintiff firm, where he focused on representing homeowner associations in construction defect cases. Trip then spent time at a Denver insurance defense firm specializing in representing construction professionals.
Trip graduated from the University of Colorado College of the Law, Boulder, where he was a member of the Colorado Technology Law Journal and Samuelson-Glushko Technology Law & Policy Clinic.
Trip’s distinguished credentials include being selected for Super Lawyers: Rising Star, Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America™ for Litigation – Construction, and National Trial Lawyers, “Top 40 Under 40.” Additionally, Trip serves on the Colorado Bar Association’s Mock Trial Committee.
